Danielle Oxendine Molliver

Danielle Oxendine Molliver graduated from Mitchell Hamline University School of Law with her Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution in 2016. Danielle is a proud member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. She specializes in culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, bilingual, client-centered representation that is tailored to individual needs, as expressed by the client.

Since a young girl, Danielle has been dedicated to community organizing, advocacy, outreach and social justice. Prior to joining the team, she worked at the Legal Rights Center (LRC) where she was a bilingual Community Defense Attorney that also specialized in expungements. Danielle has given bilingual (Spanish/ English) “Know Your Rights” trainings for kids, professionals and parents alike. Danielle also served as the Deputy Solicitor General for the Non-Removeable Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe where she co-created and sat on an alternative “Family Healing to Wellness Court” for parents suffering from co-occurring substance abuse and mental illness. These families were also facing child protection matters. Ms. Molliver has provided hundreds of pro-se hours through Volunteers Lawyers Network, Federal Pro Se Project and more organizations.

Danielle believes the strongest tool for justice is empathy. Empathy can lead to better outcomes for clients and is a stepping stone to a more just and compassionate legal system. She is licensed to practice in both Minnesota State and Federal Court. Her professional memberships include American Immigration Lawyers Association; Minnesota State Bar Association; Minnesota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.; Ramsey County Bar Association; and Hennepin County Bar Association.

Danielle understands that clients are never just facing one issue or adversity at a time. She specializes in family, criminal, tribal, and immigration law, all which quite often intersect.
